Terms Governing The Use Of Our Services


SPOT-LESS PVS


SPOT-LESS PVS is  a company registered in England and Wales (registered number 07144702) whose registered office is at 6 Pargeter Close, Greatworth, Banbury, Oxon, OX17 2DS (“SPOT-LESS PVS ”).


SPOT-LESS Professional Valeting Services  is a name protected by trademark


When you make a booking with SPOT-LESS PVS, you should read and agree to the terms and conditions of the booking prior to making an appointment. Once an appointment has been made, you are bound under the terms and conditions of the booking.


Bookings


SPOT-LESS PVS may ask you where you heard about SPOT-LESS PVS in order to gauge our marketing strategies


SPOT-LESS PVS cannot guarantee any exact times when accepting your booking, an approximate time will be provided and upon request we will call you to advise our arrival time when on way.


Valeting times given by SPOT-LESS PVS are an estimate only. Each vehicle is different and may require more or less time to fulfil the valet service requested.


SPOT-LESS PVS reserve the right to alter or move a booking in line with weather conditions and /or machinery or equipment failure.


SPOT-LESS PVS reserve the right to take a debit or credit card details to secure the booking.


SPOT-LESS PVS reserves the right to refuse or deny any booking or continue with their service if they deem the customer to be unreasonable.


SPOT-LESS PVS will not tolerate any verbal or physical abuse towards any of its staff under any circumstances and will take the relevant actions should any such behaviours be encountered


Pricing


Prices charged by SPOT-LESS PVS are based on valet type, location, type of car and condition of the vehicle.  Any price quoted over the telephone is an estimate only and should be used as a guide and not a guarantee.


SPOT-LESS PVS reserves the right to charge each vehicle according to its condition, the type of vehicle and the customer location.


SPOT-LESS PVS reserves the right to amend any price during the valet should the condition not be as stated by the customer at the time of booking.


SPOT-LESS PVS reserves the right to refuse or deny additional valet services required that are not stated at the time of booking.  Any additional services requested after the booking has been made will incur a charge in addition to the estimated price.


SPOT-LESS PVS reserve the right to take a debit or credit card details at the time of booking in order  to secure the booking and reserve the right to charge a debit or credit card the full amount should the vehicles not be available for cleaning and the booking has not been cancelled in advance in line with the cancellation policy.


Credit Terms and Payment


Payment is due upon completion of your valet. For invoices not settled upon completion of your valet or for payments returned unpaid, SPOT-LESS PVS reserves the right to charge interest on the overdue debt at 8% PA and an administration fee to cover its debt recovery costs and any other costs relating to the collection of payment.


Cancellation


SPOT-LESS PVS require a minimum 24 hours’ notice for a cancellation.  If this is not adhered to or we turn up to your agreed venue to carry out your valet and the vehicle is not available, we reserve the right to charge a flat fee of £35. 


SPOT-LESS PVS reserve the right to alter a booking or move a booking in accordance with prevailing weather conditions and/or equipment failure without penalty to the company.

 
In the event of dubious weather conditions, SPOT-LESS PVS will explain any anticipated loss of performance of chemicals that may arise due to the adverse weather conditions, in this event, no cancellation charge will be charged.


Service


SPOT-LESS PVS will carry out a Vehicle Inspection prior to commencement of work. The customer will be advised of any areas of concern regarding the condition of the vehicle.


All vehicles are cleaned and valeted at the customers own risk.


Customers should remove all personal belongings, money and other significant items from their vehicle prior to any type of valet
SPOT-LESS PVS will not accept liability for any loss or damage to personal belongings left in a vehicle whilst it is being valeted.

All chemicals used by SPOT-LESS PVS are biodegradable and we have health and safety data sheets available in order to comply with Health and Safety legislation.


SPOT-LESS PVS has public liability insurance.


SPOT-LESS PVS will not be responsible for any paint flaking that occurs whilst cleaning the vehicle, only fully tested, high quality products are used. Paint flaking normally occurs when a vehicle has been re-sprayed and the body shop/car repairer has not followed correct procedures for preparing the cars body/plastics.


SPOT-LESS PVS will not be responsible for long term wheel damage. This normally happens when the customer or previous car wash personnel have cleaned the wheels with an acid based material.  SPOT-LESS PVS only ever use acid-free cleaning products that cause no damage to customers’ wheels or to the environment.


Health and Safety


SPOT-LESS PVS operates in accordance to Health and Safety legislation and best practice and have a full and up to date Risk Assessment and Method Statement for all working procedures.


SPOT-LESS PVS  will not undertake work on a vehicle in a dangerous position. If the vehicle is in a dangerous/obstructive position then the customer will be requested to move the vehicle to a more appropriate position.  SPOT-LESS PVS are not insured to move a customers’ vehicle.


Claims


Advice of damage must be given in writing to our registered address within 24 hours of completion of the valet and any claim in respect thereof must be made in writing to our registered address within seven days of completion of the valet. All other claims must be made in writing to our registered address  within seven days of completion of the valet. SPOT-LESS PVS  shall not be liable in respect of any claim unless the aforementioned requirements have been complied with except in any particular case where the customer proves that (i) it was not possible to comply with the requirements and (ii) advice (where required) was given and the claim made as soon as reasonably possible.


Liability


SPOT-LESS PVS  gives no warranties or guarantees or makes any representations as to the value, saleability or acceptance of condition by lease or rental company and all other warranties, conditions, guarantees or representations, whether express or implied, oral or in writing, except as expressly stated in these terms and conditions are hereby excluded. SPOT-LESS PVS shall not be liable for any indirect, special or consequential damages, loss of profits, economic loss, loss of goodwill or loss of anticipated savings. The total aggregate liability of  SPOT-LESS PVS in respect of any and all causes of action arising out of or in connection with the customer’s valet and SPOT-LESS PVS’s  performance of services pursuant to such valet (whether for breach of contract, strict liability, tort (including, without limitation, negligence), misrepresentation or otherwise) shall be limited to the sums paid to SPOT-LESS PVS by the customer in respect of the valet pursuant to which liability has arisen. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall be construed so as to limit or exclude liability which cannot, pursuant to English Law, be excluded or limited including for death or personal injury or liability in respect of fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.


Data Protection


By making a booking with SPOT-LESS PVS, the customer consents to its details being recorded for accounting and marketing purposes. The details will be kept by SPOT-LESS PVS  even after the customer’s trading relationship with SPOT-LESS PVS has terminated. SPOT-LESS PVS  may use the customer’s personal data to let customers know about goods and services similar to the goods or services provided to the customer previously and any others matters that SPOT-LESS PVS consider may be of interest to customers.


Variation to Terms and Conditions


These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time. The latest version of these terms and conditions may be accessed via the Website.


Law


These terms and conditions and all other express terms of the contract with customers shall be governed and construed in accordance with English law. English Courts shall have jurisdiction in relation to any matters arising in connection with any contract between SPOT-LESS PVS and the customer into which these terms are incorporated.
